Emmons wins gold with WR performance

(Beijing, April 12) The women's 10m air rifle final of the "Good Luck Beijing" 2008 ISSF World Cup concluded at the Beijing Shooting Range Hall. Katerina Emmons, a 25-year-old veteran from the Czech Republic, won the first gold of the Beijing World Cup with a total score of 504.9 points, which equaled the world record set by China's Du Li. The silver medal went to Sonja Pfeilschifter of Germany, who managed to outshot Du Li in her last shot with 502.4pts. Du Li, with 502.2, had to settle for the third place.
