Zhu Qinan (CHN) Shooter - 1st place , Final

On the better performance at the late stage:
"To tell you thr truth, I felt so nervous especially at the very beginning. In the morning I did smoothly at the qualification round but failed to do a good job at the first 5 shot in the final round. After I adjusted myself, I played much better."

On the influence of the qualification on the final:
"All the shooters came here are my competitive opponents. Everything is possible. You never know what will happen. So even you fail to play at your normal level at the beginning you shouldn't give up."

On his preparation for the Olympic Games:
"This is a warm-up for the 2008 Olympic Games. I try to adapt to the competition environment on our own soil. The qualification was very tough for me and I felt exhausted. But I stick on with my strong will."

On his condition:
"Today's competition is so hard since it lasted for a whole day. I almost tired down. But my firm belief supported me. Several days ago I was ill and took to the hospital. Fortunately I recovered quickly and it didn't affect my competition today."

On Being the gold medallist:
"Recently my condition was not good. But all members of our team firmly believe in ourselves. We will work harder for the Olympic Games since we the host."

On his always firing latter than others:
"Actually I always shoot slowly during competitiom."

On his impression of the venue:
"It is the best installation in the world. Everything is good and works well."

Matthew Emmons (USA) Shooter - 2nd place , Final

On his feeling about the final:
"I am extremely happy to be in the final. I had 599 points in the qualification round but it was not my best actually. I am fortunately enough to be here with many world top shooters. I am satisfied with my performance."

On Katerina Emmons' role in his victory:
"We are just ordinary husband-and-wife shooters. We help each other and give each other strength. "

On the shooting clothes:
"The clothes belong to my wife's father. They are 14 years old. I like wearing them very much and they can bring me good luck."

On what he thinks about Zhu Qinan:
"He is great. I respect him a lot. I enjoy watching his competition every time."

On his marriage with Katerina Emmons:
"We got married on June 30th last year. We met each other during the last Olympic Games."

Gagan Narang (IND) Shooter - 3nd place, Final

On the feeling of his performance today:
"I'm satisfied with my performance today, good scores, very great city and shooting range. But it is also a pity I didn't get as many as perfect tens as I wanted. It was not exactly what I've expected."

On the areas he thinks he can improve before the Olympic Games:
"I will exert more effort in air rifle and make some inprovements to get in the final."

On whether he was aimming to win in the final:
"I thought it would be difficult to win, yet it's not impossible to win. The final reslut largely depends on the mental aspects of the athletes, as others among the top 10 have comparatively equal abilities."

On the financial problem for his training in India:
"I don't think we have financial problems in training in India. We have good sponsors at home and we care about most is training hard for the Summer Games."
