1.DATE AND VENUE

“Good Luck Beijing” ISSF World Cup 2008 for rifle, pistol & shotgun events will be held at the Beijing Shooting Range in Beijing, China from April 10th to April 21st,2008.

2.SHOOTING EVENTS (INDIVIDUAL EVENTS ONLY! )

3.ENTRY

3.1 The maximum entry per team/event is 5 shooters ( 3 for individuals + 2 for MQS only ).

3.2 The number of entry for team officials is not limited.

3.3 The late entries can only be allowed according to ISSF rule C.9.1.6.

3.4 Any federation reducing the number of shooters after the Final Entry Form has been received by the Organizing Committee is obligated to pay all applicable fees and costs for the number of shooters and entries listed on the original Final Entry Forms. (ISSF rule C.9.1.4.3.3).

3.5 If entries exceed range capacity MQS only shooters may have to shoot during the training period.

3.6 If the ISSF online registration is used all entries can be done by online-registration at: entry.issf-sports.info Please take care of the deadlines.

4.COMPETITION METHODS

All competitions will be conducted under the current ISSF Rules and Regulations. Detailed information is available on the ISSF homepage www.issf-shooting.org .

5.VENUE & TARGETS

The Beijing Shooting Range is located in the northwest of Beijing, 50km from the airport.

The Shooting Range Hall and the Final Hall are equipped with Sius electronic target system.

50m range----------------------------80 firing points

10m range----------------------------80 firing points

25m range----------------------------12 groups of targets

The clay target fields are equipped with Laporte Machines.

Shotgun field------------6 fields (5 combined fields for trap, double trap and skeet, 1 field for double trap.

--- Orange-colored targets filled with green powder will be used for the qualification rounds.

--- Orange-colored flash targets filled with red powder will be used for Finals.

--- The targets used in qualification rounds and finals will also be used during Olympic Games.

6. ENTRY FEE

6.1. For shooters: US$150 per shooter/event

6.2. For officials: US$50 per person

6.3. For late entry: US$50 per person

6.4. Clay training fee: US$7 for trap and skeet (25 targets), US$14 for double trap (50 targets).

7. ACCOMMODATION & MEALS

The Organizing Committee has arranged 5 official hotels for all the participating teams at the preferential prices.

The hotel reservation must be made through the Organizing Committee on the first come——first served basis and the reservation can only be considered once the Final Hotel Reservation Form has been received by the Organizing Committee within the deadline (March 10th, 2008). The deadline for change and cancellation of hotel reservation is March 25th, 2008. In case of cancellation or non-show after that date, the penalty fee will be equal to 50% cost for one night.

Any delegations or shooters wishing to arrive in Beijing for adaptation purposes in advance of the official arrival day can do so, but not earlier than the 4th April 2008. The Beijing Shooting Range will be opened for unofficial training in all events on the 8th, 9th and 10th April 2008 ONLY (11th April 2008 is official training day).

8.ACCREDITATION

This competition is a test event of Beijing Olympic Games, so the accreditation policy of ‘Good Luck Beijing’ sport events will be used for Beijing World Cup. Before Mar. 10th, 2008, all the athletes and team officials need to fill in Accreditation Application Form£¬and e-mail electronic format of certificate photograph to bs10@Beijing2008.cn.The form will be provided on the official website of “Good Luck Beijing” ISSF World Cup 2008 (www.shooting2008.org/ ) from Jan. 1st, 2008.

The photo must be an electronic colored passport photo and must be in JPG or JPEG format. The size must be no less than 10K and no larger than 1M.The naming convention of each photo is: FamilyNameinEnglish+GivenNameinEnglish+DateofBirth (format:YYYYMMDD)

For example: an applicant whose given name is Peter and family name is Gates and birthday is June 2,1981, the name of his photo file must be GatesPeter19810602.jpg )

9.REGISTRATION & PAYMENT

All participating teams are kindly requested to make the registration for the final entry confirmation as well as all the payment for the accommodation and entry fee to the Organizing Committee on the shooting range starting from 09:00—13:00 on April 10th to April 11th, 2008. If payment is made in cash it must be US Dollars or Euros. Credit cards or Travelers Cheques are also accepted.

10. LOCAL TRANSPORT

All participants will be provided with transport service to and from airport& train station and range for their arrival in and departure from Beijing, China as well as to and from the Official Hotels and the shooting range in the form of shuttle buses during the training and competition days.

- Any delegates or shooters should submit fees for their transportation to the shooting ranges for the period of (8th, 9th and 10th of April) amounting to $25.00 per person.

- In case of accommodating at non-official hotel, all the local transport has to be covered by the participants.

11. VISA

The participating teams, which need entry visas to China, are kindly requested to fill up the enclosed Visa Support Form (Annex 7) and send it to the following address as soon as possible but no later than March 10th, 2008.

After receiving the Visa Application Form (Annex 7), all the participants will be provided with an Official Invitation Form from the Organizing Committee to apply for their entry visas at the Chinese Embassy or Consulate in their respective countries. Those federations whose countries have no diplomatic relations with China are kindly requested to inform the Organizing Committee of where they prefer to apply for the visas.

12. JURY

According to the ISSF General Regulations, the Juries will be composed of qualified ISSF Judges.[ ISSF rule C.9.4]

13. DOPING CONTROL

All doping control will be conducted in accordance with the ISSF Anti-Doping Regulations.

14.MEDIA RELATIONS

Press and TV services will be provided during the World Cup.

Athletes biographies and photos: Upon arrival, athletes will be asked to fill in their “Athlete Biography” and return it to the Organizing Committee as soon as possible. It is available for athletes and team officials to take photos on training days.

ISSF TV: All finals will be covered by the ISSF TV team and will be displayed at the internet www.issf.tv.

15.INDUSTRY

Industry services /exhibitions will be available during the World Cup.

16.ISSF ID NUMBER

All shooters participating in the World Cup must possess the unique ID No. allocated by the ISSF Headquarters. Please remember that the entry without ID No. is not accepted.

17. WEATHER INFORMATION

According to the weather information, April is considered as one of the best month to visit Beijing. The average temperature is 14.7°C , the extreme maximum is 32.8°C , the average maximum temperature is 20.6°C , the average relative humidity is 43 percent, and the average precipitation is 23 mm.

18. FIRARMS AND AMMUNITION

All the participating teams must declare all of the firearms and ammunition which will be brought in China for the World Cup in advance. They are kindly requested to complete the Firearm and Ammunition Form (Annex 8) and return it as soon as possible to the Organizing Committee.

The firearms and ammunition brought by each participating team shall be stored in the Shooting Range Armory.

19. TECHNICAL MEETING

The Technical Meeting of rifle and pistol events will be conducted at 11am on April 11th, 2008 in the Final Hall at the shooting range.

The Technical Meeting of shotgun events will be conducted at 12am on April 11th, 2008 in the meeting room at Shooting Range Hall (CTF).

20. AWARDING CEREMONY

Awarding Ceremony will be conducted after each Final on the shooting range. All participating teams are required to bring along with them two national flags (Size: 1m X 1.5m approx.) and one national anthem on a standard cassette tape or CD (40-50 seconds) for the Ceremony.

21. OPENING CEREMONY AND CLOSING BANQUET

Opening Ceremony will be conducted at 4pm on April 11th,2008 at the shooting range.

Closing banquet will be held at 6:30pm on April 20th, 2008 and the cost is US$25 per person.

22. REGISTRATION DEADLINE

To make quick clearance of the importation of firearms & ammunition from the China Customs, any changes of firearms & ammunition must be notified to Organizing Committee by e-mail or fax as early as possible.
